A Year with a Labrador Retriever.

Life has been a lot less lonely and a lot more fun since this little one made it into my life. He is my first dog and I have to say I got pretty lucky. Not everyone who wants a dog ends up with this cutie. He is extremely active and playful, like most labradors are. He’s also pretty silly sometimes! He is the sweetest creature you will ever meet. And he’s everything I’ve ever wanted and more. Life can get confusing sometimes and you forget what really matters. At times like that all you need is a little ball of fluff like mine to remind you of all the good things in life.

The last year has been the best so far and here’s why,

Leo. My best friend. ❤️

May his tail wag a little faster( if that’s even possible) in the years to come.

  1. Lovely pictures what a cutie he is! Life with a dog is so much fun 😊 we wouldn’t be without our cockapoo now and have had her just over a year. For all the crazy loops around the garden to get covered in mud those cute eyes and cuddles make it all worth while!

  2. I have had dogs all my life, and I have two now. I tell myself I won’t get another dog, mostly because I’m afraid it will outlive me since I’m finally admitting to myself that I’m getting older. And partly because I’ve been a caregiver to others my entire life, and in my last years I think I might like to take care of myself alone. But for now my Labradoodle is 12 1/2, and my English mastiff is 8, so they will be around to take care of me a little while longer.
