The Obsessive Writer

I’m Abirami and I’m from India. My life is all sorts of crazy and convoluted and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I have been writing for as long as I can remember. This blog was an experiment of sorts. To see if what I’ve been writing for so long is any good. Now it has escalated to a point where I call myself a writer. Yes. An obsessive writer at that!

I’m a student right now and I’m 19. I am a passionate dreamer, and that dream is to be a published author some day. I love writing poetry. I also dabble in fiction.

Thank you for visiting my blog. πŸ™‚ I hope we stay in touch.

  1. My Dear Abirami, came to this page to have another look at Your name, (I always like to address by name in the comments!), and having already given You a like here, noticed that Your ‘desire is to please.’ Being an old man, and behaving like all old men, let me suggest that You write what You think is Right, and not worry if people are pleased or not. Love and Regards.

  2. “highs of intelligent conversation” – “Lend me your ears and I will make it worth your time” –
I felt a similarity somewhere and liked the honesty though..!! πŸ™‚

    1. Haha.. Thank you. πŸ™‚ It means beauty and poise. But I am neither. πŸ˜€ Kind of like suprman, high standards thrust upon me. I just hope to live up to them.

  3. Hi! I happened to chance upon your blog under the “Blogs You May Like” section and I have to say I’m glad I did. Your writing is somewhat refreshing to read, in how you manage to express your thoughts so cleanly and coherently. I’ve read through a number of your posts and I noticed they were all on the shorter side, which is a joy to read for me because of my short attention span. Oftentimes I find that blog-writing has the tendency to lapse into verbose and confusing rambling and it becomes difficult to decipher the writer’s meaning. Yours, however, seems to steer clear of that. Also, your writing has an engaging quality which makes it pleasurable to read. Do continue to share with us such eloquent and lovely posts.
